"I don't want to be reminded of my knees when I get home at night."

WHEN DO YOU WEAR KNEEPADS?

All the time. I rely on good kneepads in my work. I’m often kneeling on a fender, hanging over an engine – or moving around trying to reach something from below. Often I have no choice but to kneel right on sharp edges.

WHAT IS A GOOD PAIR OF KNEEPADS TO YOU?

The D3O Lite I use work really well. When kneeling I can feel how the pressure gets distributed over a larger surface. I don’t get the same strain on a specific spot, which is usually very annoying when you have to slide on your knees over an uneven surface.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THEM?

I especially appreciate that these kneepads are pre-shaped and bent to fit the knee and tailor-made for the kneepad pocket. Some kneepads I’ve used before were ill-fitting and often got in the way when walking about.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN CHANGING TO BETTER KNEEPADS?

When I worked as a roofer I spent all days on my knees using older style kneepads. Coming home at night they often felt sore, and sometimes swollen. As a mechanic I can also experience fatigue in the knees at night, but with Snickers D3O Lite it has been a lot better. In fact, I rarely think about my knees at all.

Change worn out kneepads before it’s too late!
Change kneepads more often and you’ll save your knees. A general rule is to use at least two pairs of kneepads for each pair of trousers.
